For the second consecutive year… Suez Canal Bank sponsors the celebration organized by the General Union of Banking, Insurance and Financial Business Workers to honor ideal mothers in the banking sector

As part of its efforts to support and empower women, in appreciation of their important role in society, Suez Canal Bank participated, for the second year in a row, as a main sponsor of the annual celebration organized by the General Union of Banking, Insurance and Financial Business Workers to honor ideal mothers in the Egyptian banking sector.

The celebration was attended by a group of banking and economic leaders, public figures, and members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, in addition to a number of honored mothers from the banking sector, who were selected based on criteria reflecting inspiring stories of perseverance in raising their children alongside their working lives.

In this context, Suez Canal Bank nominated Ms. Abeer Sedky from the Cairo branch and Ms. Dina El Sawabi from the financial sector, among its employees, as part of the ideal mothers in the banking sector. They were selected according to the Union’s criteria and were honored during the celebration in recognition of their role in overcoming personal challenges, raising their children, and continuing their professional journey.

During her speech at the celebration, Nour El Zeny, Head of Financial Inclusion, Corporate Communication, and Corporate Social Responsibility, stated that Suez Canal Bank’s sponsorship of this celebration for the second consecutive year reflects the Bank’s focus on appreciating inspiring female models within the Bank. She noted that honoring ideal mothers represents a human celebration through which we recognize inspiring stories of women.

She added that the Bank places great importance on empowering women and strengthening their role in the workplace, in addition to supporting community initiatives that contribute to supporting and empowering women producers and entrepreneurs. She also expressed the Bank’s pride in honoring two of its employees among the ideal mothers in the banking sector, in appreciation of their ability to overcome personal challenges alongside their professional journey.

For her part, H.E. Dr. Solaf Darwish, Head of the General Union of Banking, Insurance and Financial Business Workers and Deputy Head of the Manpower Committee at the House of Representatives, praised the role of banking institutions in supporting and empowering women, confirming that honoring ideal mothers in the banking sector reflects society’s appreciation of women’s contributions to the development process.

At the end of the celebration, Nour El Zeny received a trophy in recognition of the Bank’s role as a main sponsor of the event and its efforts to support initiatives that celebrate the role of women and highlight their contributions to society.
