Suez Canal Bank Highlighted Its Efforts in Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Support During EVs 2025

Suez Canal Bank participated in the sixth session of EVs Electricity Egypt 2025, titled “Workforce Development, Skills Building, and Corporate Social Responsibility,” as part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to empower youth and support entrepreneurs.

In this context, Nour Elzeny, Head of Financial Inclusion, Corporate Communication, and CSR at Suez Canal Bank, emphasized that the summit serves as a strategic platform bringing together experts, companies, and universities, contributing to knowledge exchange and fostering innovation within the sustainable transportation sector. She also praised the organizers’ efforts and their role in supporting this vital industry.

Elzeny further noted that empowering youth, entrepreneurs, women, and people with disabilities is among the Bank’s key priorities. She highlighted a joint initiative implemented in collaboration with a civil society organization, through which 60 motorcycles were provided to orphans, alongside employment contracts with private-sector delivery companies, with the aim of creating sustainable job opportunities and supporting the economic empowerment of young people.

She also highlighted the role of the Bank’s Business Development Services Hubs (BDS Hubs) in facilitating access to financing solutions, connecting entrepreneurs with the Bank’s clients, promoting financial literacy, and delivering training programs that contribute to business growth and enhance competitiveness.

Elzeny added that Suez Canal Bank had previously sponsored the fourth edition of the Egyptian Women Summit 2025, organized by the Forum of Egypt’s 50 Most Influential Women and hosted by Nile University, as part of the Bank’s keenness to supporting and empowering youth and women while fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. The summit featured the STEM & AI Challenge competition, which attracted more than 160 student projects from over 28 Egyptian universities. Representatives from the Bank’s Digital Transformation Sector participated as members of the judging panel, which selected six winning projects. Suez Canal Bank subsequently supported three of these projects by opening “Bedaya” financial inclusion accounts and providing financial awards to each project.

On the sidelines of the summit, Suez Canal Bank was honored in recognition of its support for EVs Electricity Egypt for the second consecutive year. The award was received by Nour Elzeny, reflecting the Bank’s role in supporting sustainability initiatives, building human capabilities, and contributing to Egypt’s Sustainable Development Vision.
