Suez Canal Bank Participated in Arab Financial Inclusion Day Activities at October 6 University to Promote Financial Literacy and Encourage students to open “Bedaya” Accounts
Suez Canal Bank participated in the activities of the Arab Financial Inclusion Day during the period from April 1 to 30, within the campus of October 6 University, with the aim of promoting financial literacy and enhancing banking awareness among youth, in line with the directions of the Central Bank of Egypt and Egypt Vision 2030.
In this context, the Bank was keen to engage with university students through a dedicated booth, as well as introduce them to the benefits of the “Bedaya” financial inclusion account, encourage them to open accounts and benefit from its free features, in addition to providing simplified awareness sessions on the basic concepts of financial inclusion and the importance of saving and financial planning.
The participation also included communication between the Bank’s Financial Inclusion representatives and micro-enterprise owners participating in the “Ayady Misr” handicrafts exhibition held within October 6 University, introducing them to the banking services and products that suit the nature of their activities, and providing financial awareness, contributing to supporting the growth of their businesses and encouraging them to join the banking system through opening “Bedaya” accounts for companies and micro-enterprises.
This comes as part of Suez Canal Bank’s keenness to expanding the base of beneficiaries from financial services and enhancing financial inclusion for all segments of society, especially youth, as they represent one of the main drivers of economic growth.
