Suez Canal Bank signed a cooperation protocol with Misr El Kheir Foundation to support the “Iftar Saem” campaign and distribute more than 2,000 food boxes during Ramadan across different governorates.
As part of its social responsibility role and its keenness to supporting social protection initiatives under the patronage of the Central Bank of Egypt, Suez Canal Bank signed a cooperation protocol with Misr El Kheir Foundation to support the “Iftar Saem” campaign during the holy month of Ramadan. This will be done through providing more than 2,000 boxes containing essential food items, contributing to supporting underprivileged families and helping provide their food needs in several governorates.
The protocol was signed by Nour Elzeny, Head of Financial Inclusion, Corporate Communication and CSR at Suez Canal Bank, and Eng. Amal Mobdi, Executive Director of Resource Development, Marketing and Public Relations at Misr El Kheir Foundation, in the presence of representatives from both sides.
In this context, Nour Elzeny confirmed that Suez Canal Bank is keen to expand its contributions to social protection programs and strengthen food security, in line with the directions of the Central Bank of Egypt and in line with the second Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 2): Zero Hunger and Food Security.
“Elzeny” added that Suez Canal Bank places great importance on partnerships with civil society organizations that have a developmental impact, helping create a positive impact in the community and supporting social solidarity efforts.
She explained that this cooperation comes as an extension of the bank’s continuous efforts in the field of corporate social responsibility. The bank has been participating in Ramadan food box distribution initiatives in cooperation with civil society organizations for the ninth consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting underprivileged families and promoting a culture of solidarity and volunteer work.
For her part, Eng.
